An Internal Affairs Unit for the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development!

an Internal Affairs Unit has now been established within our Ministry in line with the “New procedure of establishing an Internal Affairs Unit in all Public Institutions” initiated jointly by the Presidential Secretariat of Sri Lanka and the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption in terms of Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023.

Accordingly, if you become aware of any anomalies, corruption, or allegations within our Ministry, you can report the information or complaints to the Internal Affairs Unit located on our District Secretariat premises, either anonymously or with your identity, using the following method.

Furthermore, as internal affairs units have been established in the institutions under the purview of our Ministry, namely:

> Sri Lanka Customs
> Excise Department of Sri Lanka
>  Inland Revenue Department
>  Government Valuation Department
> Department of Census and Statistics
> Department of Imports and Exports Control 

you are now provided with the opportunity to forward complaints related to these institutions to their respective internal affairs units.
